Katedralskolan i Åbo
is the Swedish Upper Secondary School of the city of Turku. The ancestry of Katedralskolan goes back to the medieval Cathedral school which is presumed to have been founded in 1276. This year, the academic year 2009-10, there are 265 pupils and 23 teachers in the school. The tuition given is preparatory for academic studies and the time tables are planned for nongraded studies.
